Liquid seaweed is a sustainable, organic fertiliser that is made from kelp. Seaweed solution improves foliage growth, root development and the health of seedlings. It also makes plants more resistant to diseases. Spraying seaweed solution directly onto leaves (i.e., foliar feeding) along with seaweed granules is found to be particularly effective. With seaweed solution, a little goes a long way as the concentrate must be diluted (according to the manufacturer’s instructions) and this makes it a fairly cost-effective fertilizing option. It can also be used for vegetables for increasing the fruit yield and flowering.
